 Chris Presson, known to many in Wichita for his connection to sports teams, is the General Manager of the INTRUST Bank Arena. He is employed by SMG, the private management company for the arena.

Chris, 44, earned a bachelor's degree in journalism and broadcasting at Oklahoma State University in 1992.

He has 18 years of executive-level sports management experience including his position as President of both the Wichita Thunder and the Wichita Wingnuts. He has been involved as a Sports Marketing Professor at Wichita State University.

Chris has also been appointed the two-time Central Hockey League “Executive of the Year”.

He says his job as General Manager will be to maximize use of the arena. He believes the arena should bring a "new level of excitement" and entertainment to the area.

Chris is a former board member for Ronald McDonald House, Big Brothers/Big Sisters and the Boys and Girls Club. Currently he is a board member of “Go Wichita” and various boards related to the downtown area and the arena.
