Charles Rivera Featured Speaker at WHCC’s May Meeting
Looking for ways to improve your performance? Then the Wichita Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, Inc., May 20 meeting is made for you. “How the Best Get Better” will be the featured topic. The presentation by Charles Rivera, CLU, will provide specific strategies and concepts designed for entrepreneurial-minded individuals who seek to acquire the capabilities to improve their performance.
The meeting is scheduled for 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Wichita State University, Rhatigan Student Center—Ballroom, 3rd floor. Please note that there will be reserved parking for members attending this event in Lot 7 just to the south. Click here for a campus map.

The presentation will cover a range of issues, such as breaking the ceiling of complexity, the entrepreneurial time zone, the largest check, developing your unique ability, and the relationship model.
Rivera launched his insurance career with New York Life in 1982 as a field underwriter. He came to Wichita after his discharge from the military. He is a 27-year member of the Million Dollar Round Table.
In 2007, he became a registered investment advisor with Eagle Strategies and launched a firm specializing in fee-based investment advisory services to professionals and businesses throughout the state.
In 2001, he founded the WHCC. In November 2007, he started the Kansas Hispanic Education and Development Foundation to advance education and entrepreneurial efforts to develop Hispanic leadership in Kansas. He currently serves on the Kansas Board of Regents and is involved in the review and evaluation of admission standards at the state’s higher education institutions.
His motto is “What you do outside your business is what is going to make you great in your business.”
Rivera has made his presentation at several national and international forums, including the Million Dollar Round Table and to financial service professionals from South America.
