With state-of-the-art medical, surgical and behavioral health services, Via Christi Wichita Health Network includes Via Christi Regional Medical Center, which ranks in the Top 5 percent in the nation for quality care, according to HealthGrades, an independent national healthcare ratings company.
Its St. Francis, St. Joseph and Good Shepherd Behavioral Health campuses, which have a total of 1,532 licensed beds, serves as a major teaching and research affiliate of the University of Kansas School of Medicine.
The Via Christi Wichita Health Network also includes the 60-bed Via Christi Rehabilitation Center-Our Lady of Lourdes campus, 21 outpatient rehabilitation, occupational, immediate care and sports medicine clinics; 17 Preferred Medical Associates’ family medicine and specialist practices; Via Christi Home Care, which offers a full complement of home care services; Via Christi Health Partners, which includes Kansas Surgery and Recovery Center and the Center for Same Day Surgery; Via Christi Foundation/Children's Miracle Network; Via Christi Research; and Gerard House.
It is part of Via Christi Health System, a not-for-profit organization sponsored by the Sisters of the Sorrowful Mother and the sponsoring congregations of Ascension Health.
